I disagree. I'm pretty busy since the cops are going door to door confiscating guns from homes in New Orleans right now (which would lend a little more credence to the idea that ther are libertarian minded folk down there) but I'll try to explain why.

Though first would you qualify your statement for me? Why do you think Louisiana lacks libertarians?

Moronic adherence to libertarian principles coupled with a healthy dose of lifelong racist conditioning precludes their usefulness in the resistance to what's coming.

      From the video clips I've seen & the news stories I've read, ther are quite a few folks who are not asking for or accepting any sort of government assistance. One lawyer is filmed telling the reporter that he simply wants the government to excercise "benign neglect" towards him. I'll grant this is not the majority of folks down there, but us libertarians (both big & little "L" varieties) are a minority to begin with.  & that's just in New Orleans. I'm seeing examples from a smaller area which would make me think that over the larger area there are perhaps many more.

 So I would respectfully submit that you're mistaken at present (although it was a good hit, if inaccurate). By tomorrow you may not be as the foced evictions will clear out most of the libertarian minded folk in New Orleans. Well that is the ones who survived the gunfire form the firearms confiscations.

What's happening so far is people leave when they think about it. And if 1000 people out of a city of a half million refuse to leave, that's close enough to zero to count...and you'll find considerably less than 1000 in the end.

Just to be clear..what Libertarians (and to a lesser extent libertarians) oppose is the government forcibly extracting money from one person and giving it to another.  They do not oppose accepting money from the government, any more than they refuse to drive on government financed highways.

One participates in life as it exists, while hoping for it to be better.
