All respect and no restraint

On the interracial

I read the New York Press

I read the New York Press piece several days ago and the research summary at Rachel's Tavern this morning. I have to be honest here because I thought the New York Press article was a hoot and I laughed nearly non-stop as I read it. I'm not a sexual voyeur but I thought it was funny reading about someone's rather harmless sexual tastes and fantasies. It read as if the author and her sexual partners were having a good time with a minimum of harm and recriminations. I thought: go for it.

I found the piece at Rachel's Tavern interesting because it reinforced what I intuitively believed and read about some aspects of interrracial relationships particularly regarding the couple's respective family members. I think her findings reinforce my belief about the difficulties of finding a good loving partner in this world and establishing a relationship that can work.

Funny...but think how upset

Funny...but think how upset the ol' white guys she's blowing off will react. Truth is, though, the major reason I linked it was as an excuse to link Rachel's stuff.

I have to say that I

I have to say that I wouldn't simply dismiss the old broad at the New York Press. First of all, she ain't that old. Dudes with flat stomachs and hard dicks are still rolling up on her and knockin' the boots - according to her testimoanial (yeah, I spelled it that way). Second, she's not talking about relationships or marriage - she's talking about bonin'. That's what's really real. It's not about your parents or your priest or your teachers or your held over Irish-Italian-Catholic-German-Protestant-Anglo guilt. It's about DeeeezNutts. And that's what makes NYC clubs go 'round. It's what keeps hip hop sales at an all-time high. It's what built jazz and rock n roll. That old broad is talking about an insatiable, voracious appetite that cannot be fed at home. In other words, there will ALWAYS be a ROAD TRIP to DeeezNuts. Straight up, bruh.

Been there, done that...I'm

Been there, done that...I got no problem with folks doing the horizontal dance with the partner of their choice.

I'm not comfortable with the claim it's because of intrinsic qualities of all Black men. Or maybe I just ain't got that sensuous skin.

C'mon P6! You're taking her

C'mon P6! You're taking her much too seriously, bro. Her claims about black men are nothing more than what gets her wet and hot. She is just tweaking folks and having a good time doing it. The black men that she meets and beds are just guys who when she looks in their eyes she can see her brain turning. I'm sure that in a city the size of New York there are plenty of brothers that she sees who don't get her juices flowing.

  You're taking her much

You're taking her much too seriously, bro.

It's my reaction. I'm just explaining why I react this way.

I feel you. I thought about

I feel you. I thought about that while reading the article. We are not all long, strong, and down to get the friction on (paraphrasing my man Sir Mixalot)...anyway, I do believe she seriously believes what she wrote - and it may also be that she believes black men who don't fit her image or get her juices flowing are somehow less black...maybe, don't know for sure...after all, does she believe that white cats who keep their testosterone together are uber-whites or quasi-black? I dunno...column can clearly be viewed as a segue to more sinister things - still, in a Madonna-does-Leon/Barkley/Rodman/Canseco/BigDaddyKane sort of way, it's a confirmation of what we've always known, namely, there's as much ass at the Four Seasons as there is at the bus stop.

The ultimate white girl's

The ultimate white girl's fantasy is now playing at a theatre near you: King Kong.

I always thought that King

I always thought that King Kong was the ultimate white man's sexual fantasy. Kong and the woman are just props.

I think King Kong is the

I think King Kong is the ultimate white man's fear. It's his physical stature and intellectual creations (machines) that are rendered impotent in protecting the blonde hoochie in the flic. And, besides, in the original, she didn't seem to mind all that much.

I would like to read the

I would like to read the original article so that I may form an opinion about what this woman actually said. I am a Black man and biracial dating an marrying is not a contentious issue with me;However,I am seriously interested in the intellectual dexterity that people promulgate especially about "Black & White" partners?

The original article is A

Question? Why does she

Question? Why does she prefer Black men? What does she mean by prefering Black men? This is a serious question that I am seeking some clarification about?

Can't go past what she

Can't go past what she wrote...

I don't mean this in a nasty

I don't mean this in a nasty or condescending way at all but I think the simple answer is that the rocks in her head exactly fit the holes in their heads. At bottom, isn't this why any of us become interested in someone else? Things fit and we move forward from there or sometimes we break out the tools and try to make them fit.
