What is clear to me is that after all that has transpired against us since our arrival to these shores, is that these folks have a visceral hatred, almost biologic for us. I rthink its so instinct for them that even they, "the dominators", can't describe it.  And our folks are going to have to truly face that reality. I mean whether you are liberterian, republican, democrate, poor, rich, pretty, or ulgy, that, if you're Black, your life choices will be restricted and  / or fustrated at all times at all levels, so as to ensure or institutionalized or maintain our marginality. A marginality that has become so ingrained so as to make cultural marker, of sorts, of a measure of one's potential cpmpared to our status. There will be a few who will be allowed to  make it. Because a complete shut out would be too revealing of the true nature of our existence based on the action of these foools. Moreover, of the few who make it will serve to appease the wider world, to an extent, so as not to make these people appear truly as demonic as our historical narrative truly indicates. But the reality of the matter at hand is that at some point, if we are bread or aborted or short shrifted of the resources to make us viable, out of existence, a global hellava conflagration is at hand. And we are going to have to make some truly informed decisions as to our allegiance for survival as a people. As the earth's resources shrink and the sphere of influence for the folks retract are going to make for some interesting tiems in deed. Can't wait!

So these folk withdrawing any and all help to redress past, and ongoing limitations on our full intergration into this nation as our history and numbers prescibe, for me is just the setting of the table for the coming global conflagration. That, because, we are closer to the fools, we feel the cultural wrath more, so that it is  self explanatory or self evident. That even though they are witness to the emergence of mostly nonwhite nations (China and India as examples) that will, and is, competing head to head with them on a global basis for the earth's resources, the response these people ascert is to limit our chances in life here in the US for example. Hmm? Go figure!

For the dense out here G-DAWG, why is it again that white males should seek to maximize any - other than their own - selective fitness?

Your comments suggest that you may harbor just the slightest ittle animosity toward whites, yet you  expect them to overlook that fact and allocate resources toward maximizing your fitness?

Maximum capital value is being obtained from its human resources and significant return on investment from its corporate and consumer markets.  That's why it was welcomed warmly into the western nuke-you-ler club last week. 

China is also performing economically - hell - Caterpillar (the big earth mover/power generator manufacturer) does 2/3rds of its global binnis in China, and Price Waterhouse just rented out the Great Hall of the People for a corporate shindig.

Most of them don't get as far as that, though. They just understand that things are supposed to be a certain way which (by coincidence) benefets them at our expense. It's no accident they invented the term "reverse racism." We know which direction racism is supposed to flow in.

That said, yes, Black folks need to adjust to certain realities

Perhaps I may harbor the slightest bit of animosity towards these fools for what THEY have done to MY people, DIRECTLY. Is it unreasonable?  For me, I think not.

I can actually track my ancestry back to pre-civil war era, and therefore, can vouch OR ASK THE QUESTION, unapologetically, as Prince sings wickedly,  " when will we get paid for the work we've done?" Moreover, I understand these folks would seek to maximize their resource capture, in all aspects, to their sole benefit. Hell, if It was me, I would PROBABLY do the same. It is purely a Darwinian character of human/animal nature.

But humans are supposedly different. They reason. Have informed emotions, intrinsic compassion, etc,.  They are ruled and live by laws and mores. Then why is that that for negroes to have some measue of redress for our despicable historical narrative on these shores , in this instance, we have to grovel, still, after 350 or so?

My answer to this morass is  to make or concieve of a universal Negro. One who is so skilled at traversing the many socioeconomic and geopoltical obstacles of this modern world, so as to make his geographical presence irrevelant in his life and existence. That his 'skill currency' are soooo valuble that his biologic viability is unquestioned and, in fact, garanteed.The arts has made us so in one respect, Notwithstanding, the Oscar winning song," Its bad out here for us pimps." 

This is our mission. To make the universal negro a reality in all shperes of life !

 So that point, other folks realize this mission as well, which is why we see the many reversals of sooo many programs that would serve as jumpoff points to this life saving endeaver for our people in the US! Just think about France will begin Affirmative Action programs after their tribulation last fall and India has done such for the Dravidians or untouchables also. But here in the US with these assholes despite our cultural legacy of prolonged oppression and exploitation. Naaaahhhhh.

A few months back, in conjunction with the Bill Bennett bruhaha.., I quoted Bill O'Reilly hereabouts giving his estimate that 10% harbor just such animus.  O'Reilly was commenting on Farrakhan as a "hater" a couple weeks back in conjunction with the Hon. Min.'s "Integrated a Burning House/Pale Horse" speechlet given at the Tavis SOTBU show - and O'Reilly repeated his guesstimate that 10% are visceral - and that these make it hard for everybody else.  

In the same commentary, he also opined that 2-3% of black folks are hardcore reverse haters.

Seems to me that if the energy involved with maintaining the animus is working for you, then laissez le bon temps roulez, otoh, if it in any way impairs or impedes your efficiency and productivity, then it has to be rechannelled into something more develop-mentally constructive -and with a quickness.  Personally, I've found that the scarcity of really bright people - in general - serves as a sufficient disincentive to indulging the hatred vice.

Seems to me that the global/corporatist force vectors are in process of implementing an all encompassing, and very Gattaca-like, socially darwinian threshing floor.  

Might the SIU policy, and all like it, mirror this new(old) objective?

There are only two reasons to oppose this:

a third reason.., demand destruction and the impending shrinkage and possible collapse of the consumer economy?  Of which America is the premier exemplar, and, black  folks - judging by our aggregate fiscal profile -  some major perpetrators?

I couldn't agree with you more - and it is entirely up to us to define and exemplify precisely what this indispensible black man {not to be confused with the ever popular magical negro} must be.

The final product for me has not  yet been truly envisioned, but...............

My effort at this point though, is to attempt to create, in my mind, a mechanism, so as to facilitate the development of this universal figure, be it man or woman.

So, to that point, I strongly suggest that education in all of its forms, and manifestations, in our community, must become as addictive as crack cocaine, in effect.

That, unless we consume as much knowledge as available and possible, in a community wide effort, the second building block to this human zenith, is nothing but an illusion. The first block, obviously, has to be the person having the mindset to be receptive to such a notion so as  to want to be educated for this universal objective or reality.

I would start with the churches in the community. I think ALL churches should have education themed months for its members and folks in the community, whereby on a given month there is devoted to grammar. One month to math. One to literature and culture. One to science, in all of its aspects. One to ethics. I'm telling you this is the elixir we need for our viability as a community of people with a future.

And finally, as far as the hate thing is concerned, there will always be animosity among groups and people. (Note I used animosity)  It's human to do so. No amount of hemming and hawing or buck dancing will make this reality of life this disappear. This is what I admire about the persons of the Jewish. From, the European perspective and that of  the middle east, they have been victimized for a two millenia or more, but because they treasured education so much,  made them viable no matter where they ended up after progroms or holcaust,  they were and could survive and prosper. Now that's universality worth studying. Obviously we, as Blacks, have come a long way in our survival modalities since our arrival here but.........

I like the piece about the universal negro - although that person must first and foremost be of use to himself...he/she should do as Dr. JHC instructed and practice the selfishness essential for survival. Because if one fails to do so, they go FROM "universal and valuable to others" TO "dangerous and threatening to others". I think we have quite a few of those folks.

I mean, having " the complexion for the protection" does not hurt you.    But you have to admit  that  there's a drive for professional education that is to be admired  and   immulated, in my humble opinion. This I am clear about. That education, in what ever arena one attains it, is life saving. It, in effect, has the potential of insuring one's survival and that of their progeny in most instances. Or it helps to secure that survival in what ever arena proscribed, considering the circumstances of the situation at hand. If you konw what I mean.
