Hell, make it a TV show, and
Hell, make it a TV show, and I'll download it from itunes everyday. It's way past time for a project like this.
I agree with keto... would
I agree with keto... would be great if this (type of thing) was a TV show, or even a youtube show (sadly, I have no real idea how youtube works, so I don't know if that is feasible), but what a great project it would be.Â
The way the media portrays black people in general, and black men in particular, is simply appalling, but we are no longer held hostage their narrow view. With all this new media around, hopefully more and more will take advantage of it in the manner of this short piece. Or even "radio" show type things, as I know a number of people would rather remain anonymous so maybe just audio or audio with images that illustrate the points, but no photos of the speakers. Would love to hear topical debates or philosophical, political, etc conversations between some of the people who post here. Â
Also, I was unaware of those
Also, I was unaware of those statistics. Well, wait, I mean I'd heard some of them, but never really thought to go beyond just the hearing and check them out even though, when you see them presented like this, I realize how little sense many of the numbers make on the face of it.Â
YouTube is easy. If you have
YouTube is easy. If you have a cell phone that makes movies you can jack them straight into it. Same with your web cameras. Or you can upload after editing them on your PC. It's just got to be less than 10 minutes and less than 100 megs. And you get an RSS feed of your uploads, I think.
That's another good one,
That's another good one, although it could be edited to pack a little more punch, I think. I see they have a site, but there doesn't appear to be anything on it yet. Will be interesting to see what they do with it.
And thanks. One of these days I'll try YouTube, once I figure out something to put up there. Â
