Eeewww...now I have to wash my blog

In search of revenge on Eric Muller of Is That Legal?

University of North Carolina law professor Eric Muller [send him mail] appears to have a lot of time on his hands to pursue his avocation of amateur Commissar of Political Correctness. Not only did he have VDARE.com's Peter Brimelow thrown off the air last summer (follow the resulting row here) but he's nursed an obsession with our lovely columnist Michelle Malkin that's hilariously creepy.

...Steve Sailer of VDARE.com linked to my link to one of Mr. Muller's post.

Okay, that's probably because Mr. Muller pulled the post

[POST TEMPORARILY REMOVED]

(It has come to my attention that this post has been linked (as of 4/20/06) by by at least one blog that is now publishing information about Michelle Malkin and her family in response to her having published people's telephone numbers with the knowledge that they are receiving death threats. While my post neither revealed private information about her nor threatened her with harm, I wish to disassociate myself entirely from the dangerous and misguided response that some anonymous bloggers are purusing to Malkin's provocative and harmful tactics. Threatening someone with harm is dangerous, illegal, and completely reprehensible.

I retain a copy of this post (as, no doubt, does Google's cache), and I may post it again down the road if and when things settle down. In other words, I am not trying to "disappear" this post. I am simply trying to send some bloggers the message that I deplore what they're doing.)

Still...eeeewwwww!

Mr. Sailer admits in the article Malkin's support for internment camps was done for political purposes.

Now the rest of the story: The political purpose of Michelle's book was to argue against Bush Administration Transportation Secretary Underperformin' Norman Mineta's adamant opposition to ethnic profiling at airports due to his internment as an infant during WWII.

How nice.

He accuses Mr. Muller of attempting to silence his opponents

It's not surprising that Muller has given up debating in favor of smearing, slandering and if possible silencing his opponents.

but supports Ms. Malkin's efforts along those lines

This was only part of a campaign that has caused Malkin to file a complaint with Muller’s employer.

And he REALLY cracks me up by linking to comments from trolls and calling them Muller's commenters.

One of Muller's commenters sardonically observed:

"Geez, next thing maybe you and your comrades will stop using the word 'racist' for every policy you disagree with. I won't hold my breath, though."

Yeah. Here at VDARE.com, we're not holding our breath, either.

Hold your breath. Please, please oh PLEASE hold your breath.

Sailer

But you're missing the funniest part:  Sailer is angry at me and seeking revenge on me for having quoted his words once on my blog.  Verbatim.

I have learned over the

I have learned over the years there's nothing you can do that will anger folks like him more than confront them with their own words.

Well, you can show how disconnected they are from reality and morality but it takes a while for them to remember that stuff. By that time I've usually lost interest in them.
