Paris Hilton & White Privilege ends with

It ain't white privilege that busted Paris Hilton out of jail, it was citizenship privilege. If it weren't for all those illegal immigrants crowding up the California penal system, we would have plenty more room for petty offenders like Paris Hilton, and the the 'war on at-risk black youth' aka those named 'Shaniqua' who are otherwise presumed not to get a break because they're not blonde, rich and hot crotched.

I say deport all the illegals so we can throw more Americans in jail. Starting with everyone on Sharpton's side on this melodrama. They can't blog from jail can they?

My initial response.

1. We do not want room in jail for those named 'Shaniqua'
2. Black people who hate on other Black people for being concerned about those named 'Shaniqua' are too fucking far gone for me to ever be concerned with
3. People who raise Al Sharpton's name at every issue of Black concern, and people who assign all Black people every issue they have with Al Sharpton do so because they have nothing else to say. They are usually anti-Black racists (Al himself being of necessity an exception).

After some thought, my final reaction was to remind myself that it's an error to engage such statements seriously. Throwing absurdities out for discussion is a form of "poisoning the well."

I've devised a simple test to determine who to ridicule. If what they say is absurd or they present a characature as their persona, I can ridicule them. Don't have to...but I can. I can ignore the entire content of what they say, use it as a jumping off point for something else entirely, whatever.
