The other thing is, everyone seems to know how important this kind of uncritical support is. With this in mind, it becomes obvious how destructive constanct harangues targeting Black people is irrespective of your reasons supporting them.
I am not saying I want to hold Black folks above criticism the way many would 'our troops.' I am saying attacks on Black folks are no more justified that attacks on the troops.
