Why is the church allowed to continue not to lead on this issue
Biden did get carried away with what he said, but he was right on time when he mentioned that folks should be practicing safe sex. Although to keep it real I do not like white people talking about that issue.
But its not his fault because a black lady asked the question. Also even if the aids statistics are not as bad as made out to be. What is going on with aids and the black community is shameful, the leadership shown by our social organizations is disgraceful. The actions and non leadership of the black church on the aids issue is utterly scandalous, their insisting on aids being a curse by god against gays is beyond retarded especially when you consider that magic came out over 15 years ago and that the bible never implies that god would curse gay folks with anything much less aids. Im still trying to figure out why thousands of churces are allowed to get away with showing zero to very little and ineffective leadership on this issue.

If this had been done a long time ago we would be further along than we are now in dealing with this important issue. During the debate you ask them to show you exactly where in the bible it says good will curse homosexual. You also confront them directly on a lot of their other non sense and backwardness they preach.
