Introduction
We've been having trouble with our white people recently. After over 350 years of trying to civilize them they are resisting the limited changes we've induced for their benefit, to teach them to be fully and compassionately human. Though this is frustrating in the extreme, we must remember that only rarely is the road to higher consciousness well paved. Bumps, potholes and blind corners abound, so it's only natural that our white folks should slip up now and again in their progress. Still, though we must be understanding, we must be firm with them as well, because we are their only hope.

The major reason for the trouble we've been having is the subliminal masking matrix driver burned out a resistor. The power levels needed to keep reminding you that you are dealing with a group mind that has not developed the transcendental functionality necessary to operate intelligently, rather than rationally, was simply too high to maintain. Had we not operated the matrix at such high power levels, your spirit would have overwhelmed these unfortunates. Worse, you may have responded to the treatment you've received in a manner fitting a people who would consciously act in so barbaric a fashion…had you done so, there would be little left to enlighten. Unfortunately when the resistor burned out, the power surge briefly increased the density of the subliminal mask. The resultant psionic backlash damaged all of us to some degree…you'll note the recent inexplicable tendency among our people for calling each other bad names when we disagree. But some of us imprinted and came to believe the role we were playing. These poor souls will probably be more difficult to heal than our white people will be. The depths of their psychoses are tremendous.

This latest setback has increased the difficulty of an already daunting task. There have long been those among our thinkers who felt we should abandon this mission and move on to more productive fields, but they have always been in the minority. Their numbers grow though, and recently they have been joined by those who feel that, though our mission is worthy, the experiment is simply out of control. In fact, when asked in a survey, "Should we give up on trying to evolve these beings and let them fulfill their desire to boom, and swell, and fester until they pop their world like some swollen boil come to a head, all pus and stinky ooze all over the place?", 35.7% replied "Yes". By now you've received notice of the collective meditation that will determine the future of this project.

Regardless of the outcome of the vote, we will remain here long enough to see to our fellows' recovery. Additionally, the more compassionate among our number feel it would be a great shame, and even some small loss, to let these beings remain in an unevolved state. The wretched condition of their souls alone almost audibly cries out the need for our presence. Some among us, and I confess to being among their number, feel that by staying among them we have set forces into motion that we, as the prime mover of those forces, hold the responsible for insuring that they are dealt with successfully. During our time among them we have tried to teach them humility by rising from the depths of the worst conditions they could create for any being. We have built and created and given culture to them while being reviled. The value of our efforts insured their most powerful tribe its primacy. All this was intended to demonstrate that the way to creativity and growth does not lie in an economic philosophy, but in the substance of the people. This knowledge is only beginning to take root in their collective consciousness and if we abandon them now, their fall will be longer and harder than it would had never lifted them up at all. For these and other reasons, it was decided to collect several useful bits of information for this presentation to assist you in completing the training of your white people in the hope that we can complete our work in the time remaining to us.
