The conversation about the all-black school in Dublin was interesting and drew me back to thinking about an observation you made a couple of months ago on the election of a Nigerian to mayor in Ireland and how it figures into the relationship between the Irish people and the people of the African diaspora, whether it is the IRA supporting the black freedom struggle in the United State or Irish immigrants to the United States fiercely embracing ant-black racism as a means of assimilating into American society.
