Learning how to promote health care from bloggers and reporters

First of all, I'm still the single payer guy.

If I recall correctly, John Edwards was the first Democratic candidate to promote universal health insurance (I'm not calling it universal health care...NO ONE is is offering universal health care). Chris Dodd may actually have been first; it was close enough that he has to be mentioned here.

Sen. Obama was next, declaring everyone will be covered by the end of his first term via universal health insurance without using "universal health" in the up-front rhetoric. Sen. Clinton kind of avoided the topic as long as she could but she's just come out wih her plan...universal health insurance.

The whole thing reminds me of a huge number of newspaper articles I run across, where one guy does a detailed interview and 87 other guys restructure the first article.

But hey, any of the three refractions of one plan is better than what we have now.
