Let's be clear: there is no explanation for your staff passing on the terrorist smear, or raising questions about drug dealing as they have, that will satisfy me.
That said, I understand your efforts to be relevant but the fact is you have no experience using Black cultural expressions. So tell your people to stop trying. Black folks have a lifetime of experience understanding standard English.

Shucking and jiving? My, my, my. These folks are trying to goad Obama into coming out of his Harvard bag and revealing himself to be, in their minds, just another brother from the hood who can speak well. When white folks begin speaking in the cadences and rhythms of black patois and it is not meant as entertainment then they're in trouble.
Next they'll be declaring that Obama doesn't believe that fat meat is greasy or that grits is groceries. I can hear Br. Bill practicing that tenor sax right now. I hope the tune that he is playing is David "Fathead" Newman's classic Hard Times. Hillary's campaign will need it sooner or later.
