Prometheus 6

All respect and no restraint

The pattern continues with Bob Johnson

Update: 5 p.m. Mr. Johnson just released this statement, through the Clinton campaign:

My comments today were referring to Barack Obama’s time spent as a community organizer, and nothing else. Any other suggestion is simply irresponsible and incorrect.

“When Hillary Clinton was in her twenties she worked to provide protections for abused and battered children and helped ensure that children with disabilities could attend public school.

That results oriented leadership — even as a young person — is the reason I am supporting Hillary Clinton.”

This was planned...note the ambiguity in his offensive statement:

He then added: “And to me, as an African-American, I am frankly insulted that the Obama campaign would imply that we are so stupid that we would think Hillary and Bill Clinton, who have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood – and I won’t say what he was doing, but he said it in the book – when they have been involved.”

According to all these guys

...the suggestion was Bob's and yes...it is simply irresponsible and incorrect. He should not have made it.

OH Don't Make Me Puke! - Of All People She Chose Bob Johnson?

This is not okay. Would Hillary Clinton sit in a church pulpit with Larry Flint or Hugh Hefner? Then why is she sitting in a pulpit with Bob Johnson? Or is she only concerned about the degradation and exploitation of White women? Does her brand of feminism extend to Black women and girls too?

I wrote about it

The Clinton Machine is either stupid, desperate, or out of touch.

The Hyman Roth Syndrome

What we are facing here are elements of black leadership who refuse to recognize that a change is coming whether they like it or not. Andrew Young, Bob Johnson and many others simply cannot accept the fact that Senator Obama and the vast number of black people who support his candidacy are not going to take their marching orders from them.

The good thing about their behavior is that it exposes their real as opposed to their declared beliefs and attitudes about identifying and developing new leadership in our communities. They believe that they are going to live forever.

Was it Tom Hagen or another character in The Godfather who said that Hyman Roth had been dying of the same heart attack for 25 years?

Bob here shows it's not

Bob here shows it's not limited to the 'leaders.'  Looks more like the economic aristocracy.

Yes, you are right but I

Yes, you are right but I took their assets into consideration when I used the term "leaders." The Colored Aristocracy is diverse.
