ALSO: Obama, for the first time I've seen, goes on the record saying Bill Clinton's comments weren't "racial."
That's gonna do as much good as when he refused to gut certain Senate Democrats by allowing they may have had information justifying their authorization of Bush's war.
Remember.
The audio of Bill Clinton's appearance on the Tom Joyner show this morning is now online, and it's really worth a listen.
Clinton, again, hits a media "double standard," and says that attacking Clinton rather than defending his alleged wavering on Iraq is "classic Obama."
Clinton also offers a true classic of damning with faint praise: "It’s been a brilliant campaign, and this is an example of how brilliant it is: It rests on a false premise."
He also says that Obama, personally, "implied that I was somehow racially motivated," and says his campaign has accused "Hillary of being a racist who's responsible for the assassination of Benazir Bhutto."
Interviewer Jacque Reid makes some intrepid, but futile, attempts to cut through.
