Kennedy to Endorse Obama
By Jeff Zeleny
MACON, Ga. – Senator Edward M. Kennedy intends to endorse the presidential candidacy of Senator Barack Obama during a rally on Monday in Washington.
Mr. Kennedy, who is viewed in many circles as the lion of the Democratic Party, finalized his decision after the South Carolina primary results on Saturday, with Mr. Obama forging a coalition of black and white voters. Associates to both men said the senators have been in discussion for weeks, but Mr. Kennedy informed Mr. Obama today.
Of all the endorsements in the Democratic Party, Mr. Kennedy’s is viewed as the most weighty. He had vowed to stay out of the presidential nominating fight, but as the contest expands into a state-by-state fight – and given the tone of the race in the last week – associates said he was moved to announce his support for Mr. Obama.
The endorsement will be announced at a rally at American University on Monday, hours before the State of the Union Address at the Capitol.

I could be misreading these
I could be misreading these developments but I think that many, many Democrats have decided that if the party's presidential nominee goes down in November, they want to go down swinging and fighting for something. Nobody wants to die for triangulation a' la Billary.
pt, I believe you are right.
At least, if you go down with Obama, you were going down with a purpose. And, whatever the slimeball tricks the GOP uses, they'll be new to us, instead of retreads from the 1990's. Come on, Al Gore! :)
I don't think anyone is
I don't think anyone is looking to go down. But in the exit polls only 8% though electability was the most important trait. And one of the reasons John Edwards is the progressive blogosphere favorite is they like his combative presentation.
So yeah, triangulation is out.
'they say' the straw that broke Teddy's back
was the Jesse Jackson comment. He just couldn't take anymore.
Come on, AL GORE!
I am not a Clinton-hater but
I am not a Clinton-hater but I deeply, deeply resent the fact that Billary's behavior and attitude are continually referenced as being somehow emblematic of my generation. This is bulls**t! Many of us still continue to walk the walk and talk the talk and we have never backed off. Billery is part of what I have called the second-line inheritors. They didn't make any sacrifices and they not did incur any costs for their principles because they never had any.
Suggestion
You have the "anyone but Clinton" logo in the upper lefthand corner o your page. Click on it, and it takes one to your blog index. I recommend changing the hyperlink to a list of posts that outline the basis of your opposition to Sen. Clinton. Here are some posts that you might include on your list:
That, or something you feel really spells out the heart of your grievance.
Google "anyone but
Google "anyone but clinton."
Your number three is one of my YouTube clips, all of which were deleted. I still got the original clip, I have to do something to replace that one anyway.

I was flippin' thru channels
I was flippin' thru channels this morning and the Fox & Friends morning show had a segment on Caroline Kennedy's endorsement. The 3 person panel discussed the value of it and one cat kept trying to dismiss it because Caroline doesn't have a political following or some such. He went on to say an endorsement from a Kennedy in politics, etc. would be meaningful with, again, the dismissive tone that Caroline's endorsement didn't mean much. Oh well...
Nquest, I watched MTP, and they thought Caroline
Kennedy's endorsement DID mean something. I tried watching Fox last night and couldn't do it. Just couldn't do it.
Ted's announcement must have
Ted's announcement must have exploded his head.
It would have been nice
It would have been nice timing for Ted's endorsement to interrupt the show as breaking news while he was talking.
FYI, the Fox panel had one white male, one white woman and one black male. The first one assed up. The other 2 panelist felt the same why they did on MTP. This was all before MTP came on. I was hoping MTP lead off with Obama's victory but soon as Tim introduced John McCain on MTP, I wasn't about to watch that mess.
I did
Google "anyone but clinton."
I did. I'm just saying, you might find it useful, or rather, your readers might find it useful, if you had one go-to entry on why you're opposed to Clinton. I thought it was obvious that I've already done that.
I was trying to explain to my wife why you're so angry at the Clinton Campaign, and thought, P6 already has vastly more detailed info than I do, why not urge him to point us at a single location that has the salient points. Punchy summaries are not something I'm very good at.
Okay. I stuck this one at
Okay. I stuck this one at the top of the list (which, it seems, is not comprehensive...). I think that's a nice summary. You may also need this one to understand why I call their actions racist. Check the answer to Why do U-People always think everyone is a racist?
You don't mess around
Man... you fer real.
Unrelated: thank you for turning me onto Mozilla firefox. That software saved my a** just a second ago.
Man... you fer real. Yes I
