Clemens Says Pettitte Was Wrong About H.G.H. Remark

WASHINGTON — Roger Clemens told a House oversight committee on Wednesday that he was talking about his wife’s use of human-growth hormone, not his own, when he discussed the subject with Andy Pettitte, and that he was shocked to learn later that Mr. Pettitte had used the hormone himself.
