White folks who claim they should be able to use some variant of 'nigger' take note: if you have a prepared explanation for why it's okay for you to use the word, it is NOT okay for you to use the word.
'Nigga' implies a level of familiarity that is inappropriate for a student/teacher relationship.

I admit the cracker needs
I admit the cracker needs education. But it surely shouldn't be at the expense of his students.
Perhaps the yanking of his license atogether, would give him the time he despeately needs to examine other occupations.
Something like,"Would you like fries with my Tourettes?"
I don't think this is what
I don't think this is what Professor Katherine Gines of Vanderbilt University, who presented a paper at the Racial Uplift Symposium, meant by resignification of the term "nigga."
(BTW, I thought that Prof. Gines' presentation, due to time limitations, received less focused attention than it deserved.)
Also...
Please allow me to add: If you haven't stopped to think about why you believe it's okay for you to use the word, that goes double. The conditions when it might actually be okay are so remote that you're just better off not to do that.
While we're at it, this works as a nice general rule. It works for this word and so many others. It's not hard--if you think a word might be offensive, it probably is. Choose a different one.
It's not hard--if you think
Yeah, but that doesn't leave room to point out the absurdity.
