Some may feel I've taken a bit of delight in pointing out the racial nature of much of the opposition to the very idea of an Obama Presidency. Well, I have...though not for the reasons you might suspect.
Basically, I like the fact that Hillary's campaign has decimated some of the assertions anti-racism activist have had to deal with...repeatedly...over the years.
No one gets to claim white people don't think about race anymore. When reputable sources put the percentage of people that won't vote for a Black candidate because the candidate is Black at about 15%, you don't get to claim it's only current with the red-neck, pointy headed trailer trash contingent (though they are trying). You don't get an automatic pass with the liberal card (this gives you people with the conservative card stapled on your forehead no reason to celebrate).
People don't have to prove what has been demonstrated. People may well have to explain it though...which should not be a problem for anti-racism activists since it's not their responsibility.
