Have you noticed how much of the discussion about Obama's run for the White House entails giving him advice about what he and his campaign should do? It is as if folks in the punditocracy cannot accept the fact that Obama is quite capable of tying his shoes and chewing gum at the same time.

Harold Ford would not have been in the House of Representatives save for the fact that he ran to replace his father who was retiring. In addition, he had other relatives who were elected and appointed officials in Memphis. In short, everything that he needed was given to him.

Now that he has been anointed as a political seer and visionary following his lost in the senate race and being appointed to head the dreaded Democratic Leadership Council, the MSM trots him out to offer advice to Obama. I clearly can recall, for example, that he was the first one pushing the Hillary Clinton for vice-president ticket but without acknowledging that the race for the nomination was over. 

He hasn't won ANYTHING!

Pat Buchanan's job is upholding white supremacy. There will always be a job for white guys like him.

He's more qualified for that job than Ford is for his.

Yes, I agree. I am not quite sure what Ford's role is other than trying to put a black face on questionable policies that adversely affect black people.

Harold Ford and Joe Scarborough are on MSNBC right now blathering on ad nauseam about Obama's failure to campaign in West Virginia and Kentucky. The sense of self-important puffery exuded by these two blowhards became so weighted with their egos that at one point Scarborough tells Ford, "Harold, I know that you would have gone into those areas and talked to those voters" and Ford solemnly responds, "Joe, you know I did talk to those voters."

What Joe and Harold do not tell us is that those voters in Tennessee DID NOT VOTE FOR FORD EITHER WHEN HE RAN FOR THE SENATE. Those voters do not like black people period. 

What becomes of the DLC if Obama wins?

They just start working Obama instead of Clinton.

Somewhere, there's an intelligent Black female broadcaster out of a job because a mediocre lightweight like Mika got it. She's too dumb for words. As for the Dark Sith, Obama's in the Senate. He IS NOT. So, just WHO is a better politician....LOL
