White southerners have been bent since the Civil War. I actually feel quite indignant when I hear them complain about being stereotyped while we still have Jena 6 and the situations in Texas. They're just as racist as before, and they get all upset when they get called for it. Quit crying, Honkey!

To hear white southerners tell it they are most maligned and aggrieved group in the Republic. The North invaded them when all they did was engage in an armed rebellion against the federal government. Clearly, Lincoln was overreacting.
