Wow! No wonder McCain has so many houses: his wife has the price of a Scottsdale split-level hanging from her ears.

Pailin on the ticket simply doesn't make up for this stuff. The elitist slur pierces McCain every time it's aimed Obama. And so do attacks on the entrenched Washington establishment. I thought McCain had a brain fart when uttered "We were elected to change Washington but it changed us." And why was the podium down to his knees? And the backdrop of blue sky with a solitary flag waving off to the extreme edge was poorly framed. The persistent appearance of the Pailin children night after night was distracting as well as the scene of Bristol and her young man constantly clutching hands. The dearth of minority participation was made only more acute by recurrent shots of the few colored folks in the room. McCain did succeed, however, in confirming his inability to perform the rhetorical and ceremonial duties required of the President of the United States.
