I hate even-handed stuff like this...

Guns, Guns And More Guns

I repeat: Camden, New Jersey is right across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. New Jersey has extremely strict gun laws. Pennsylvania has relatively lax gun laws. So some enterprising folks in Philadelphia take advantage of this situation by buying guns in Pennsylvania and reselling them on the streets in Camden. Philadelphia's efforts to tighten its guns laws are continually squashed by the state's courts who claim that only the state legislature, a collection of brain donors primarily representing rural areas, has the authority to change the state's gun laws. The bullets keep flying and folks in Camden and Philadelphia, too, keep dying.

The filmmakers did an excellent job

The filmmakers did an excellent job covering just about all the bases, understandably from a pro-law enforcement POV, but they lost me at the very end when the correspondent claimed both the Kentucky gun enthusiasts and the "gang members" in NJ worshipped their guns.   The killers in Camden may desperately rely on their killing tools, but I don't think "worship" accurately describes their relationship with guns.

The correspondent himself betrayed a certain amount of "gun lust" while hanging out with that 100% white crowd in the backwoods of Kentucky, but didn't seem very interested in exploring the motivations behind drug prohibition-fueled inner city gun crimes closer to home.  Still, he crafted a very compelling piece of work.  Thanks for posting that, P6.
