The United States Government could do more for arrested smugglers too

Americans Jailed in Haiti Plead for Help
By IAN URBINA

The 10 American Baptists detained in Port-au-Prince on child trafficking charges say the United States government could be doing more on their behalf.

how embarrassing

if you read the article from beginning to end, Urbina of the NYT comes across as a stenographer for the arrested missionaries, uncritically regurgitating what he is told by them, and, paradoxically, it is not helping their cause, either in Haiti or the US, and, if they don't start displaying some insight and remorse, they may end up like Lori Berenson, who, if I remember correctly, is still in prison down in Peru

now, that was a flawed "judicial" process, under martial law conditions. but, you know, leftists should know better, while missionarires are entilted to assertive US government intervention, no wonder Chavez kicked a lot of them out of Venezuela about 5 years ago

I hear the opening chords of Paul Kelly's great satirical song Stealing In the Name of the Lord.

they broke the laws of HAITI

and our government should have nothing to do with these babynapping, child thieves.

in response to Estes

I hope they continue with their WHITE arrogance...

all the way to BENEATH the jail for many years to come.

FYI- from Rev. Al's show today - guess what?

THEY TRIED THIS BEFORE - stealing children - BEFORE THE EARTHQUAKE.
