at Alfred W. Lerner Hall-Roone Arledge Cinema

at Columbia University

(Roone Arledge can be reached through the 114th Street & Broadway gate)

FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The program s theme is

"Today s Hip-Hop Generation: Living the Dream or Creating a Nightmare?"

The objective of the Youth Forum is to compare Dr. King s aspirations for African Americans to the values dramatized in today s hip-hop music videos.

The target audience is youth, ages 13   18; however, the forum is open to all ages. Finally, there will be an informative discussion between the panelists and audience members.

Some of the confirmed panelists are Radha Blank (Writer/Teacher), Bro. Jerry Barrow (Music Editor, The Source Magazine), and Rev. Michael Walrond, Jr. (Senior Pastor, First Corinthian Baptist Church). There will be refreshments and prizes.
