Questions on Spending by Minutemen

WASHINGTON, July 20 (AP) — The leadership of a civilian border patrol group is facing questions about how it has spent donations collected over the past 15 months.

Some members of the group, the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, say they have no idea how much money has been collected since the group was created in April 2005. They are also questioning what the money has been spent on and why it has been funneled through a charity based in Northern Virginia and headed by Alan Keyes, the conservative commentator.
