Linky love for random reasons

I do check the referral logs at random intervals for new-to-me sites. Today I found out I'm on the sidebar of a site name named Right Wing News. Being "openly" progressive that sort of this always surprises me. It also surprises me when someone with what appears to be an unhealthy attraction to The CoulterThing turns out to be a reasoning being.

Add to that this advertisement (no link because I ain't the one getting paid)

which I find amusing because I swear the first time I saw Kerry I said to myself "Herman Munster!" and I may have found a readable rightie.

AFTER his upcoming interview with The CoulterThing falls off the front page.

Remember this?

It's back.

Vision Circle is getting annoying because I always have to point at two posts. This time Lester busts Michael Powell with his own position on the "public interest." And Ed reports that the inevitable has come to pass.

Waveflux is working the Sinclair Propaganda thing as hard as Josh Marshall is.

Josh notes that Sinclair may have a high caliber weapon in their propagandamentary but they may have shot themselves in the foot:

A Lehman Brothers Equity Research analyst report dated October 15th, 2004 makes the following comments about Sinclair Broadcast Group, Sinclair's decision to run "Stolen Honor", and the resultant boycott effort.

Under the headline "Mgmt Chooses Politics over Shareholders" the report notes the following ...

"In our opinion, Sinclair's decision to pre-empt programming to air 'Stolen Honor' is potentially damaging -- both financially and politically. In a best case scenario, we believe that this decision could result in lost ad revenues. In a worst case scenario, we believe the decision may lead to higher political risk. As mgmt has increased the co's political risk, we are reducing our 12-month price target to $9 (from $10)"

Having given you the Waveflux link I didn't really have to give you the Talking Point's Memo link. But since I'm padding things with linky love, why half-step?

T-Steel at Solotude (I know, I need to change the name in the sidebar) has at those that think domestic policy isn't important or exciting or something.

Shelezebub links to an anti-Bush ad we can all relate to.

I'm going to stop for now. I'm a;ready going to time out because of all the trackbacks.
